Horror film Nosferatu already has a coffin popcorn bucket and a replica sarcophagus bed you can actually sleep in. Now, taking the collaborations to the next level is a real-life casket that costs $4,000.
Robert Eggers' upcoming remake of Nosferatu has partnered with Titan Casket to design a casket inspired by “the haunting aesthetic and rich storytelling of this highly anticipated movie.”
“At Titan, we believe in finding creative ways to normalize conversations around death and funeral planning,” said Josh Siegel, co-founder of Titan Casket. “Collaborating on such an iconic project is not only a fun way to showcase our craftsmanship but also aligns with our mission to make planning ahead approachable and meaningful.”
The custom Nosferatu casket was designed for fans of the film “and those drawn to gothic elegance.” It “blends Titan Casket’s renowned quality with cinematic artistry, capturing the eerie yet sophisticated essence of the movie.”
As for Nosferatu the movie, it’s due out Christmas 2024 and stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, and Willem Dafoe. IGN’s Nosferatu review returned a 9/10. We said: “Robert Eggers' Nosferatu might be a modern horror classic, given how scarily and sensually it approaches age-old material, but makes it feel entirely new.”
