Amazon's October Prime Day event starts today, and almost every manga series you can think of is already on sale. While you won't find great savings on individual manga volumes, there are pretty deep discounts on manga collections, deluxe editions, and box sets.
Whether you're already a die-hard fan of a specific series or want to line up as much as reading as possible, these are some of the lowest prices I've seen on popular manga like Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece. As a bonus, most of these box sets also include posters and other exclusive merchandise.
The Complete Dragon Ball Box Set Is Under $100
Created by the legendary Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball is one of the biggest franchises in entertainment, period. Right now, premium box sets of the manga that started it all are on sale.
This box set includes every single volume of the original Dragon Ball manga, as well as an exclusive double-sided poster and a booklet containing an interview with the one and only Toriyama. While the deal might not be as much of a steal, the entire Dragon Ball Z manga is also on sale for 25% off.

It's almost been a full year since the critically-acclaimed Attack on Titan anime came to a close. While the show certainly pushed animation forward, it’s no secret that what made it so good was creator Hajime Isayama's meticulously planned storyline. Watching Eren Yeager's story unfold panel over panel is a pretty indescribable experience, and with the entire Attack on Titan manga on sale, it's a great time to find out what the hype was all about.

When Is Manga Usually on Sale?
Manga isn't cheap. In fact, it can be stupidly expensive. As someone who prefers to read physical volumes, I've definitely found it's always worth taking advantage of any discount you can find. Amazon's Prime Day sales and Black Friday are typically the best times to buy just about anything. Otherwise, Barnes & Noble has more manga than you might expect and hosts an Annual Book Haul Sale toward the end of the summer.
